BioMax Safety & Security Systems PVT LTD is committed to the responsible management of electronic waste generated from our products. We comply with the E-Waste (Management) Rules 2022 notified by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India.

What is E-Waste?

E-waste (electronic waste) includes any discarded or end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment, including biometric attendance machines, fingerprint scanners, access control panels, and related accessories sold by BioMax.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Do not dispose of BioMax products in unsegregated household or municipal waste.
  • Do not dismantle or destroy BioMax products yourself.
  • Return end-of-life devices to BioMax or an authorised e-waste collection centre.
  • Ensure that any personal data stored on the device is wiped before returning.

How to Return Your E-Waste

Contact our team to arrange collection or drop-off of end-of-life BioMax devices:

We will ensure proper channelisation to registered e-waste recyclers in accordance with applicable rules.

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)

BioMax fulfils its Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations as required under the E-Waste (Management) Rules 2022. Our products are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicating they should not be disposed of with unsorted municipal waste.

Hazardous Substances

BioMax ensures that its products comply with applicable Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) guidelines, minimising the use of hazardous materials in device manufacturing.
